PRODUCTION NOTES

The Los Angeles production marks the second time that Ms. Huffman directed this play with the only original cast member being Stuart W Howard who played Vindici in New York. 

Often with the second time directing a play there are opportunities to make discoveries that might have been missed the first time, especially when working with another talented group of actors who bring new ideas to the table. 

In this version at Pacific Resident Theatre many of the elements from the New York production remained but what changed was bringing the audience much closer to and sometimes right on the stage, allowing them to participate in the action, making it much more accessible, a little terrifying and very sexy. The use of the painted faces also created a sinister, circus like atmosphere that kept the audience in a suspenseful almost too close for comfort experience.
